You have just landed on Mukkuru's creative Dreamwidth journal. I'll be mostly posting art and writing from time to time. 🌟 About Mukkuru

I used to go by dotemcee or MC long ago, but nowadays I stuck with Mukkuru after wanting take a rather big change over my online identity. I'm born and raised in the Philippines, and generally an artist by trade. Currently I work as a graphic designer for a local marketing company.

I'm more confident in my artistic abilties than I would with my writing, but sometimes I kind of play around with drafting up scenarios I want to write out when roleplaying on here isn't enough for me. Regardless, I hope you enjoy what I throw in here.

🌟 My interests

They kind of vary, but a lot of them involve Japanese media. I'm a pretty big Pokémon fan for one. And I enjoy other JPRGs such as Octopath Traveler, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Tales of, Earthbound, and more. I also love superheroes — though mostly tokusatsu heroes such as Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Super Sentai. And then there's others like Disaster Report and Kindaichi Case Files that live rent free in my head. Outside of those, I sometimes dive into local Philippine history and culture, travel and sightseeing, dabble in HTML/CSS, and look into the occasional internet curiosity.

🌟 Why madduck?

Long ago, I was pretty big into Earthbound/MOTHER series. I honestly couldn't think of any other name, and I wanted to keep the letter "M"-starting naming scheme back then. It was something I've done way back when I was 12, hahaha. And so I picked "madduck", an enemy you'll encounter in some parts of Earthbound. I'd rather not change it, as I'm far too attached to it.

🌟 Why post on Dreamwidth?

Simply put: It's just familiar to me. I've been on Livejournal before, so it's not too different from it. Plus with how most social media sites are run nowadays, I'd like to hang out somewhere that's a little less overwhelming to look at.
